Cheesy Meatball Sliders on Garlic Hawaiian Rolls

Savor the hearty combination of meatballs and melted cheese nestled in garlic-infused Hawaiian rolls, an easy-to-make bite perfect for any gathering or family meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pkg. Canyon Bakehouse Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (6 rolls, kept intact)
  • 12 Pre-cooked meatballs (2 per slider)
  • 1 C. Marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 C. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter, melted
  • 2 Cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning 1/4 C. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves intact.
  3. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush it on the inside of both halves of the rolls.
  4. Spread marinara sauce on the bottom half of the rolls. Place the meatballs evenly on the sauce, two per roll. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.
  6. the top of the rolls with more garlic butter, sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden.
  8. Let the sliders cool slightly, then slice along the roll separations. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
